Henry Ford Museum Driven to Win Exhibit
Dearborn, Michigan
General Contractor: Walbridge
Architect: Neumann Smith Architecture
The project is an interactive exhibit in the museum that allows guest to fully immerse themselves into the racing world. From several display vehicles that have been manufactured over many decades, to the theater, and driving simulators, the museum is able to provide guests of all ages a space to enjoy during visits.
In addition to the 30ft tall radius walls, ACP installed specialty items such as the industrial grade walkway grating used as a finish ceiling; Race netting/rail system installed on top of the driving simulator knee walls; custom leather seats designed to match the balance of the theater seating; custom hatch doors within the theater; black stainless steel Chemetal panels adhered to Kerfcore panels within the theater to support the sound system and a Unistrut system to support lighting and sound equipment. ACP is proud to be a part of such a special project at the Henry Ford Museum.
